In a wall-installation of approximately 100 ink wash drawings, primordial and aqueous lifeforms, plants and other familial matter virtually come to life as they appear to glide and move about effortlessly on the paper.

Will It Still Rain Tomorrow?

Working within the grey scale and with a tint of brown colour, Shou’s depictions are mostly about rainy days. The emotional feeling grasped, the weather recorded and the shades of grey fit well in evoking old memories thus making other colours superfluous.
