Timeless "I use the line drawing technique of
classical Chinese painting to lay a thin veil over
those faces, very much similar to the effect of
obscurity that time leaves on memories. The tip of my
painting brush, thus, becomes the ticking hand on the
face of the clock. With each and every stroke of the
brush, I painstakingly delineate each and every line
weaving out a net of time. This net is used to capture
those certain sparks of beauty at their prime."

Transfer and Transformation Drawing upon the influence of both cultures,
Minegishi merged the iconic symbol for the Japanese sun
with recognizable Canadian landscapes offering a visual
discourse bursting with rich contrasting colours and
abstraction, while imparting moments of reflection,
rumination, feeling, and memories.

Riding the Wind With minimal brush strokes, he freezes the
vitality of these four-legged animals onto his works,
regardless whether those horses are standing on guard or
galloping in full vigour with flying manes and stretched
out hooves. Chang's main interest is on capturing and
depicting their supremacy.

Second Look The photographs of Xu Yong compel viewers to
stop and have a second look, not quite sure how to
respond to the fuzziness on them whether it is from
their eyes or from the imageries.

Streetheads Photographic Works of Ramón Singley So candid are the images, one might
feel as though they are sneaking a peek into the
subject’s most personal moment, however the intimacy
and mood of each image also provide the viewer with
the opportunity to relate to the subject’s state of
existence, perhaps sharing similar feelings
experienced in one’s own life...

Flashes Works by Frank Burbach Flashes in life can spark
recollection of past memories, impulsive hint of fresh
ideas, sudden enlightenment of tormenting
entanglements or unexpected revelation of lingering
mysteries. All these should be counted as
godsends and Frank Burbach has them captured to share.
