Ban Wei,
2016
-----
Paint the darkness
From deep inside
We can see the brightness
Use both hands to paint
Left and right as one
They are unequal
By nature, they are all alike
Two brushes work together
they balance my world
Harmonize the equality and difference
It creates the oneness
Those brushstrokes become a painting
When hungry I eat
When tired I sleep
Follow the flow without struggle
With energy I make brushstrokes
The moment that I treasure most
All that I can tell
About my work is
Chinese Ink on Xuan paper
Other than that
My artworks will
Silently speak for themselves
Ban Wei, 2007
